Gel-X is a "soft extension," meaning it artificially lengthens your nails but still feels flexible, not hard, plastic-y, and molded from, as the name says, gel. This is an iteration of the same material that you would get during a typical gel appointment, made from a blend of acrylic monomers and oligomers

For the safety and comfort of our customers and staff we have listed our policies. Note: Only those receiving services are allowed in the salon (exceptions granted on case-by-case basis). Infants are not allowed at any time.
Safety
We do not service those whom we feel may have a contagious nail condition, open wounds, any visible infections, fungus, or any illness that may potentially cause harm to others. For everyone’s safety, our white spa chairs have a maximum limit of 250lbs per chair.
Hygiene
At VIP Nails, we take sanitation seriously. We ask all customers to wash their hands. Our pedicure tubs are lined with disposable protectants for each client, EPA registered disinfectant used with each foot bath. Furthermore, our tools are either disposable, single use or are sterilized after each use to ensure a pleasant and safe experience for our clients.
Appointments
Late arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment in order to keep our next client on schedule.
All appointments are time based; we do our best to accommodate added services on your arrival but if the time is not available prior to the next appointment we may have to deny your request.
Our Guarantee
We at VIP Nails use high-quality brands and we take pride in our skilled staff. This is why we offer a 7-day guarantee for all our nail services. Breaking, chipping, lifting, & peeling are rare but may occur in unique circumstances. Please call to make an appointment to return to our salon within 7 days and allow us to make it right, without any additional charge. (Color/style changes are not covered in our guarantee.) In the event all nails must be repaired there is not an additional 7-day guarantee.
Privacy / Photography
We are committed to respecting the privacy of our clients and staff. Photography that includes identifiable personal details, as well as sharing such images on social media, is only permitted with prior consent.
Respect
VIP Nails is a luxury nail salon with the goal of providing relaxation & reflection to all clients. We all have busy schedules outside of the salon, please help us ensure a calm & peaceful environment while inside the salon. Please be courteous to others and keep your group conversations and cell calls brief and at a low/quiet tone. Please set your cell phone ringer to silent. We may remove any persons/children we deem disturbing the peace of our valued clients and staff including inappropriate touching, language, gestures, and/or other offensive behavior.
